- Go to the Reports menu and create a Summary Report.
- In the first popup, choose Row:Category, Column:Time, Interval:None
- Click Continue to Customize
- Set Date Range: All Dates
- For Accounts, Categories, Tags and Payees: choose 'Include.any.'
- For Advanced, choose Income & Expense and Exclude All Transfers
- You now have a report that shows every category used in any transaction (it will not show any unused categories).
- You can print this report and ignore the dollar number, or
- You can export to CSV, open in Excel or Numbers, and remove all but the Category column and then print.
